Aspen sits 8,000 feet above sea level, so here are some tips to prepare for the altitude ahead of your visit.

Stay hydrated with lots of water throughout your trip—Aspen has great tap water!

Take it easy on alcohol and physical activity on your first day to adjust.

Welcome Party – Western Aspen Chic:

• Cowboy boots and hats encouraged, light jacket is recommended, and western attire required!

The Wedding – Black Tie Optional:

• The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Ladies: Formal cocktail attire is appropriate (long dresses/fancy cocktail dresses/dressy jumpsuits preferred). Gentlemen: Tuxedos/suits and ties preferred.

The Aspen weather in June can be beautiful! The average temperatures at the end of June are typically:

• Average high: Around 80°F

• Average low: Around 50°F

Keep in mind that these are averages, and actual temperatures can vary. Aspen's mountain climate is dynamic, with potentially warm days and crisp nights. It's a good idea to pack layers for your visit to fully enjoy the range of temperatures.

On Friday, bring a light jacket as it can get chilly in the evening.

On Saturday, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors but the reception will be inside!

The Wedding Ceremony, Reception and After Party will take place at the Top of Aspen Mountain.

We will take the Silver Queen Gondola to get to the Top of Aspen Mountain.

Gondola upload is promptly at 5:30 PM. Please arrive at 5:15 PM at the base of Aspen Mountain, Gondola Plaza, 675 E Durant Ave.

The Gondola will continue running for download throughout the evening.

We invite you to be truly present with us on our wedding day with an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away until the ceremony conclusion. Thank you for understanding - we are so excited to share this special day with you!
